Options For Missing Teeth

There are several types of restorative treatments we offer to patients with lost or missing teeth.

WHAT ARE DENTAL IMPLANTS?

Dental implants are posts that are surgically inserted into the jawbone. During a process called osseointegration, dent implants fuse with the jawbone and create a stable foundation for restorations. Implants may be used to replace single teeth or secure prosthetics such as bridges or dentures.

Learn More

WHAT IS A DENTAL BRIDGE?

Dental bridges are prosthetic teeth that restore multiple consecutive missing teeth. Bridges can be removable or fixed with dental crowns on adjacent teeth or dental implants.

Learn More

WHAT ARE DENTURES?

We offer partial dentures to replace rows of missing teeth and full dentures for patients who are missing arches of teeth. Both full and partial dentures can be removable or supported by dental implants.

HOW CAN I QUALIFY FOR DENTAL IMPLANT TREATMENT?

Most patients can qualify for missing teeth treatments, particularly implant-secured restorations. Dental implants require enough bone tissue so they can fuse with the jawbone. For patients who do not have sufficient bone tissue, we can recommend bone grafting. This treatment places healthy bone tissue from another part of the mouth into areas that are lacking. Patients also need to have healthy teeth and gums to receive restorative care. We will thoroughly examine the smiles of our patients before they receive a restoration to see if they require further treatment. A gum or tooth infection can cause implant failure or destabilize a dental restoration.
